Wandering our beautiful planet

I  started work at age 15 at McDonalds, busted tires, turned wrenches, worked in a public park, and other jobs that showed me what hard work was all about.  I started voting at age 18.

Now I am a retired Deputy Sheriff with 24 years of service in Fairfax County VA, and a retired 19 year Federal contractor that was charged with protecting our Nation’s secrets, and the security of our Company.  I spent much of both careers training others how to survive, win, and always do the right thing.  I have been called the conscious of the program and often held my office or contract to doing the right thing, I managed contracts, wrote contracts and cleaned up inventories for the Fairfax VA Sheriff's Office. I was also heavily involved in our contracts and the security of said contracts while working as a Federal Contractor.  I have seen both the government and contractor side of the contract world.

As for me personally, I am married to a lovely wife, two children (one passed), 3 grandchildren, a dog, and a parrot.  I love to be outdoors and enjoy many a mile on my motorcycles.

Balance in life is important, but so is balance in our community.  We need the right mixture of business, both large and small. Our County also needs balance  in housing,  infrastructure, community space such as parks. We also need the right balance of government with the least amount of regulation and complete transparency.  The government is and must always be by the people for the people.  Who else knows what is best for you, other than you the people.
